About
Running a rundown café is the easy part; the real trick is brewing drinks while reading exactly how far a customer wants that "extra attention" to go. You play the barista behind both, turning a dead shop into the town's hottest spot one seduction at a time.
The job starts simple: bad coffee, empty tables, a business barely staying open. As your reputation grows, so does what customers expect from the counter, and the café's story unfolds through those encounters rather than any grand plan.
Day to day, you're managing the shop itself, upgrading it, keeping stock and customers flowing, then switching gears when someone lingers for more than a refill. It plays out across a small pixel-art world you build up sandbox-style, with voiced scenes handling the moments management can't.
Changelog
- Café
- Fixed a softlock where the café could get stuck at closing time and never let you leave (or reach the Office).
- Fixed the "Open Shop" button showing up even when it was already too late in the day to open.
- Fixed getting kicked out of an in-progress drink minigame — and losing the ingredient — the instant the shift timer ran out. You can now finish the drink you're already brewing.
- The coffee machine's serving wheel is no longer painfully fast at its 2nd/3rd upgrade tier.
- Matcha (and Mocha) sometimes got rejected for quality but showed the exact same "Wrong order!" message as an actually wrong drink — it now shows its own message so it's clear what actually happened.
- Fixed old saves showing correct reputation everywhere except certain unlock checks (e.g. recruiting the Park Girl requiring "Local Favorite" even at higher reputation).
- The VIP and Viola's story events now get a fair chance to actually show up even in a busy, high-reputation café, instead of potentially never finding a free seat.
- Glory Den
- Fixed a softlock where entering the Glory Hole minigame gave you no way to leave until you fully finished it — you can now back out at any point (no reward for leaving early, but you can just try again).
- Fixed the Leave button overlapping the finishing button, and a sound effect that kept playing after already leaving.
- Fixed the serving wheel appearing at the wrong hole when more than one worker is active.
- Fixed a visual layering bug where a worker could render in front of the player, or the wheel could render in front of a worker.
- Reverted an unintended slowdown to the base wheel speed — only the Café's upgraded tiers are meant to be slower than before.
- Office
- Fixed the same "no way to leave early" softlock, plus the same button-overlap and lingering-sound issues, in Viola's scene.
- Saves
- Added Export/Import for save files via the clipboard — works on every platform, including the web version.
- PC / Gallery
- Fixed hint tooltips getting cut off at the edge of the screen.
- Added missing unlock hints for a couple of gallery scenes.
- Toy Shop
- You can now switch between outfits you already own by interacting with their mannequin again.
- Known issue: the Flappy Bird minigame is still not working correctly and is being investigated for the next update.*
- Intro: Cafe Seduction now opens with a proper intro sequence.
- New Location: The Sex Shop is open — buy and equip outfits (some free, some Patreon-exclusive).
- Hire a Waitress: Bring on extra help to run the counter for you.
- Animations: Brand-new scenes added, including a close-up Glory Den animation.
- Lighting Pass: Public areas got a lighting/atmosphere upgrade.
- Lesbian Content: New scenes and a dedicated customer type added.
- Bugs fixed
- Fix broken/grey locations on Android after resting at home or finishing Glory Den work: time_of_day was incremented past its last enum value (NIGHT), and since assert() is stripped in release exports, every subsequent location texture lookup silently returned null. Now clamped to NIGHT.
- Fix café money exploit: repeatedly entering/exiting the café re-paid the same day's earnings each time, since cafe.earnings was never reset after being paid out. Now reset to 0 on exit.
- Fix Videos page on the computer not showing newly unlocked videos until switching to Cards and back. The gallery now refreshes the active tab whenever the computer is re-entered.
- Fix "Sex?" order bubble staying up for the customer's whole wait (unlike drink orders, which shrink after ~2s) and overlapping/ blocking a neighboring seat's order bubble. It now hides after a short delay too.
- Fix customer spawning stalling out on the VIP's final-visit day: _customer_spawn() returned early on every attempt while holding the VIP back until dusk, blocking ALL regular customers too (not just him) — reported as "no customers until ~10s are left" and, further out (~day 22, when his 5th visit lands), as the cafe seeming to stop working entirely.
- Fix the VIP's end-of-day reward scene opening the report panel and awarding reputation points twice, and add a safety unpause() call afterward so the player is reliably back in control.
- Park Girl now appears (and her quest triggers) as soon as the Glory Den is purchased, instead of also requiring day 14 and Local Favorite reputation. Updated her quest description in all 5 languages to match.
- Add Patreon, Subscribestar, and X buttons to the bottom-left of the main menu, linking to the studio's pages.
- Fix movement being completely dead when playing the browser build (itch.io) on a phone: touch controls were only enabled via OS.has_feature("android"), which the web export never satisfies regardless of device. Now also checks DisplayServer.is_touchscreen_available() at runtime.
- Fix customers ending up mechanically assigned to the same booth seat ("stacking"): a seat was marked free the moment a customer decided to leave, not once they'd actually walked off and despawned, letting a new customer be seated there too early.
- Fix a pause/unpause asymmetry where every customer's sprite got paused (even inactive pool entries) but only active ones were resumed, which could leave a reused customer's sprite stuck.
- Park Girl: restored the reputation requirement (Local Favorite) for hiring her — only the day-14 requirement was meant to be removed. Quest text in all 5 languages updated to match.
