About

You wake up ten thousand dollars in debt, and the man collecting on it, Mr. Smith, never raises his voice. He just keeps offering deals, each one worse than the last in ways that take a while to notice.

The setup is simple and mean: refuse his terms and the interest keeps climbing, take them and you start trading pieces of yourself instead of cash.

Each day splits into four phases, morning, noon, evening, night, and you get exactly one action per phase to chip away at the debt before the rate resets against you. Clean work pays slowly and keeps you intact; corrupt work pays fast and eats away at intelligence, submission, and whatever sense of "this is unusual" you started with. Evening jobs escalate their own way the longer you stay in them, and the loop rewards patience more than any clever shortcut.

The same events read differently depending on how far you've fallen, with four distinct heroine states from mortified to numb, and eleven endings on offer. Only one of them is actually getting out.

Changelog

v0.6 (2026-10-10)
  • THE ARRANGEMENT: the contract now has three sections — clauses, challenge terms and your starting file. The Back Office is reachable before the run; Your file shows what you signed, live challenge progress and your supplies; finishing a run pays IOUs and opens the next arrangement with one button.
  • THE BACK OFFICE rebuilt into a Bureau: account services, perks, debt files and supplies, priced in IOUs. The Dossier (40 IOUs) adds run statistics and live ending progress; Replay Rights (100 IOUs) replay reached endings without the Patreon code; single event replays (15 IOUs each) with bundle prices that only charge for the scenes you're missing. Supplies are bought between runs and activate on their game screen mid-run. Unused stock carries over; one use per run.
  • THE STAMPS: 27 optional challenge terms in three formats for everyone — Single (pick one), Sealed (3 random), Full Ledger (5 random). Supporters also get Draft: choose up to four terms yourself, the drawer completes the set to five, at least one always random; incompatible terms are respected. Only fulfilled terms pay bonus IOUs. Cold Market cuts workplace shift pay by 10% (night earnings and Smith's payroll exempt); Narrow Ledger closes paid night activities but keeps the free walk.
  • ENDINGS REGISTRY: all 32 endings now list exact requirements, bonuses and cross-unlocks; the scenes themselves stay hidden until reached. Gallery replays no longer count as reached endings or pay the run reward twice.
  • NSFW ending media restored: the eleven darker routes have their original animated frame sequences again (5 frames each, 6 for On the House); nine classic finales have their original videos and animated images back, including Free Use and Queen of the Highway. Freedom and Almost Normalcy got new canonical illustrations instead. Frames stay with their part of the story — Previous/Next reader, Read full story mode, works on phones.
  • WORK: all nine workplaces track experience — skill tiers at 6/12/18 shifts pay a bonus on every shift; intelligence and promiscuity pick the branch. Work endings come sooner: 25 shifts for graduation (was 40), 18 for the acquisition route (was 30). Smith's assignments, revisions and penalties rebalanced.
  • THE ATHLETE: nine linked events continue his story — relationship progression, training, the fights, and time together away from the ring. Plus The Chair, a new Scientist event. Ten new events and 47 chapter screens, new scene covers.
  • OLDER SAVES: a What's New notice for returning players, automatic state repairs on load, and an optional legacy-ending correction in the Back Office (with undo; purchases and replay access kept).
  • Fixed: archive purchases and repeat charges, incomplete Draft sets, challenge reward order, the Patreon code field after buying Replay Rights, the Dossier's reached-ending counter, chapter totals in the Gangster's reader, and the mobile layout of the contract, shop, supplies panel and scene reader. Shop epilogues are not sold yet — still unfinished.
  • Older saves load with automatic repairs; existing supporter access, purchases and Gallery unlocks carry over.
v0.5 (2026-09-25)
  • THE LEDGER: the entire interface rebuilt into one system — the pre-run Arrangement is now a proper registry with the full terms of every clause and a running bill that always shows what you're signing; day screens are phase cards with pictures, prices and consequences readable before you commit; the sidebar is a financial rail: debt, rate, tomorrow's interest, the next rate step, what you earned today.
  • Scenes read like a book: big artwork on one side, text on the other, with ARTWORK / READING / MOTION toggles. Story events got their own reader — a chapter counter and paginated text, no more endless scrolling.
  • Fourteen new story events: twenty-nine pop-up stories now live in the runs (hidden, on cooldowns, find them yourself), including two full arcs that play strictly in order — THE GANGSTER'S LOVE (six chapters) and THE ATHLETE'S ARC.
  • Introduction clauses: some endings now carry a unique perk. Sign the gangster's clause and his door is open this run without the stat gate — same for the Rich Man and the Owner. The city remembers you, for a price, per run.
  • Portraits: the night clients no longer greet you as placeholder cards — generated portraits, quotation, terms, then your decision.
  • The economy bites now: the base rate is up, Smith's noon desk pays less, his "term revision" finds you in the MIDDLE of your climb, and the quick trick before sleep no longer counts as rest. Winning clean is still possible — it's just no longer the default.
  • An 18+ disclaimer on the title screen. The archive survives a restart, the code can't be milked for repeat points, and endings and events open as proper screens from the archive. A working RESTART button.
  • Under the hood: the balance is backed by a synced simulator and four automated test batteries, so future updates stop breaking what they weren't supposed to touch.
  • Save-compatible as always. The debt remembers you.
v0.4b (2026-09-13)
  • The Folded Page: Smith's annotated schedule of your week, always available from his memo — every door in the city, when it's open, and what it costs to walk through. His starred venues are marked right on the location lists.
  • Smith's assignments reworked: client tasks from the memos now complete when you actually do the work, and a task can be deferred without him losing count.
  • The refusal premium cools down faster (1% every two clean days instead of three).
  • Freeuse (B) perk holders no longer pay the late-night stamina tax.
  • A "Skip the evening" option for nights when you're too tired to work.
  • Pop-up events no longer repeat twice in one day, plus a round of smaller fixes.
v0.4a (2026-09-12)
  • Fixed the English translation of the new events added in 0.4.
  • Fixed the bugs found since the 0.4 release.
v0.4 (2026-09-12)
  • The wall of "soon" comes down: the rebuilt ARRANGEMENT perk wall goes fully live — around forty perk modes, where every ending you've reached pays out and every ??? you've unlocked does the thing it says it does.
  • Story perks that are little stories of their own: a back-door key that lets you walk out of any shift once in a while; a confession that zeroes your promiscuity once per run; a snapshot of who you were on day one and one chance to roll a stat back to her; a candle box where the parish quietly pays down your principal while you sleep; off-site sessions that pay like a top night and cannot be cancelled; an order that finds you himself — and remembers, each next one worse than the last; a chat that farms your buyout; and an agency that "revalues the asset" the moment it gets close.
  • The night perks rebuilt as deals, not gifts: nights cost less stamina, but the church cleans half as well; night clients pay more, but you start the run already warmer.
  • More hidden pop-up scenes. Same rule as before: not telling where they're hidden or how many. A couple of the older hiding spots got new tenants.
  • Small stuff: the last two intro cards finally got their art, the perk prices went back through the simulator after the new mechanics landed, and saves keep working — as always.
  • No new endings this time — 32 is a good number, and they all pay their debts now. The next big thing after this one is a second creditor.
v0.3.1 (2026-09-12)
  • Endings wave two: twelve new work endings — the work grid is complete at thirty-two, every job in the city with two roads out, a clean graduation at forty shifts with the debt dead and a dark one at thirty while you're drowning. Every ending illustrated.
  • Eleven hidden pop-up events with video: semi-unique vignettes that surface during runs — the Owner, the Rich Man, the clinic at night, Vince's house, the gangster's after-party and others. Not telling where they're hidden or how many there are; finding them is the content. All replayable in the Archive once seen.
  • Every ending now carries two perks for your future runs, plus hidden links between endings: reaching some quietly unlocks the ??? mode of another. Every perk is priced in starting debt — in this city nothing is given away, it's lent.
  • A batch of the older endings re-authored in proper English — same traps, same fates, better prose.
  • THE ARRANGEMENT redesigned onto a single screen: hover hints on every mode, a plain-language run-economy primer, hidden cross-unlocks between endings.
  • The Archive (gallery) reorganized: endings grouped into Escapes and The Fall with reach counters, NEW badges, and an Events tab with every scene you've found.
v0.3 (2026-08-22)
  • The runs system: before each new run, THE ARRANGEMENT lets you buy starting modifiers with starting debt. Every modifier is a loan — the city gives nothing away.
  • IOUs: every finished run pays points (first sights pay double, wins pay x1.5, repeats decay). Spend them to unlock the ??? (B) modes of endings you own. Three slots, five with the patron code.
  • Nine new endings (twenty total): the main workplace now decides your graduation or your acquisition — the office, the reception desk and the cafe each in two variants — plus The Result (the clinic's acquisition), Common Property (submission without an owner) and Eternal Debt (the city keeps you afloat forever).
  • Telegraphs: the sidebar warns long before any ending can fire. All ending triggers are deterministic — no hidden dice.
  • Smith the Dispatcher: morning memos suggest (and price) a place in your schedule — clean shifts when you overheat, dirtier work when you stall. Compliance forgives penalties; ignored instructions cost you.
v0.2 (2026-08-29)
  • Three new illustrated story scenes: A Patient Man, the first Owner appointment, and the Owner's late-game warehouse ultimatum.
  • Smith's progression rebuilt around the new meetings, including the correct first/second Rich Man chronology and a near-victory route where the Owner applies pressure.
  • Recurring jobs, prostitution, named clients and adult events expanded with shuffled, non-repeating prose variants for every reachable heroine voice.
  • Expanded streetwalking, outcalls, church and library events, office conditioning, clinic content, and Smith's client assignments.
  • Rebalanced debt pressure, interest penalties and income routes so careful and corrupt playstyles both remain viable.
  • Media reorganized to one asset per screen; save compatibility, gallery access, navigation and the English prose improved.
v0.1 (2026-08-10) - first public release.
  • Debt survival loop across four daily phases, driven by a progressive interest rate that tightens as the balance falls.
  • Seven evening jobs: office work, an alternate office track, reception, photoshoots, webcam, bar shift, library shift and church work, each with its own event ladder that escalates as promiscuity rises.
  • Noon locations: Mr. Smith's office, the library, the church, the beauty salon and the clinic, including hypnosis, conditioning and body surgery.
  • Two night routes: six named clients, and a streetwalking ladder that runs from a late walk to the highway, a pimp's offer and outcalls.
  • Eleven endings, from clearing the debt to five distinct ways of losing yourself.
  • The heroine's voice shifts across four states as she falls, rewriting how the same scenes read.
  • Gallery that collects reached endings between runs.
