About

Angie shows up in a cold northern university town with a suitcase, a scholarship, and a past she's trying to outrun. She wants to study, keep her head down, and become someone new. The town's secret society and a professor who takes an unhealthy interest in her have other ideas.

Every choice you make for Angie leaves a mark, on her and on the story that follows. There's no correct route through it, just the one you end up walking.

This is a visual novel, so play means reading, deciding, and watching Angie drift somewhere she didn't plan on going. Chapter 1 is the free opening chunk, with more of the story presumably meant to follow.

Chapter 2

If you've been waiting to continue Angie's story, Chapter 2 is now free.
She's settling into university life, though the rent is doing more damage to her nerves than the ghost stories. An essay on Poe needs her attention, and accepting help means deciding who she wants to spend time with. Then an invitation from the Dark Brotherhood gives her another reason to put the books aside.
I like that she still has ordinary things to worry about here. A strange night doesn't pay for her room or finish her essay. She has to get up the next morning and deal with both.
