About
Every screen in this game is a phone screen, and that's not a gimmick, it's the whole interface. You read messages, take your shifts, order things and wait for them, open the camera when you decide to. The tone is flat and matter-of-fact even as the situation gets worse.
You're broke. Rent is due Friday and you don't have it. The only income you've got is an overnight support desk job routing tickets for people who are furious at four in the morning. Chase, who went to school with you, has decided fifty a day is a fair arrangement, and he's specific about what happens the day you don't pay it. Then your landlord finds out you're short and offers you a different kind of deal to settle the debt.
From there the game is about figuring out how far you're actually willing to go, and then realizing the line you drew keeps sliding on its own, a little further each time someone asks.
Play happens entirely through that phone. You manage your shifts, your money, your messages, and your camera roll like actual phone tasks, not menu dressing, and the story moves forward through what you choose to answer, ignore, or open.
