About
Every man in existence has been wiped out by monsters, and you're the last one left, a cursed prince too broken to fight the curse alone. Girls from scattered worlds have tracked you down anyway, convinced saving you is worth the trouble.
The setup is grim, the solution is not: bond with them, sleep with them, and their magic keeps your curse from finishing the job. You're their last hope, they're yours, and the whole arrangement runs on mutual dependency dressed up as romance.
Days are spent clearing monsters and patching up whatever's left of the world. Nights are spent building those bonds through turn-based fights and one-on-one scenes that get more intense as devotion grows. The loop is simple: fight, bond, repeat, with each girl's trust unlocking more of what she's willing to share.
Changelog
- Gameplay & UI Changes:
- Removed the opponent's hand to expand the overall battlefield area and increase the size of all cards on the field (previously, the cards felt a bit too small).
- Consequently, adjusted the card sprites, card zoom mechanics, and the tutorial to fit the new layout.
- Added a shortcut: press Spacebar to pass your turn, skip dialogue pages, or flip through gallery videos.
- Added a skip button for text-based stories.
- Integrated an in-game Discord link.
- Content Updates:
- Improved the overall video quality compared to earlier builds.
- Added 17 new videos with audio for Neitha.
- Added 46 new videos with audio for Elisandra.
- Added a new text story for Liliana.
- Added a new girl, Lyra (not part of the main campaigns yet). She features 5 full sprites and can currently be encountered only in random battles.
- Completely reworked Myria, switching her to a different model with a fresh visual style.
- Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where unlocked cards could disappear due to save-file script synchronization errors.
- Fixed a bug that caused screen resolution settings to reset or fail to save.
- Fixed a crash that occurred when exiting a battle to the deck building menu while having no cards left on your board.
- Improvements / Updates:
- Added a training mode with the ability to skip.
- Improved training mode: created a frame and pointer for the training mode, wrote instructions.
- Added text and visual display of the card's class.
- Added text indicating whether the card is melee or ranged.
- Improved and replaced fonts and font shades on card prefabs.
- Added game icon.
- Replaced the background image for card names.
- Added 3 girls from the upcoming space faction (5 full sprites for each). (Currently, they can only appear in random battles.)
- Added 6 new monsters specifically for the training mode.
- Added background for the training mode.
- Added a dynamic damage system: battle stats display system. Now any changes to card health (damage or healing from any abilities) are automatically and instantly displayed on screen as beautiful flying numbers that smoothly fade out.
- Created and replaced covers for starter cards.
- Created covers for space cards.
- Audio:
- Added 2 new tracks for the desert faction during battles.
- Added 3 new tracks for the training mode (in the future they will be used for cards that do not belong to the main factions).
- Added hit sound.
- Added sound of tearing clothes.
- Added sigh sound at 0 HP.
- Added 4 sound effects for abilities (one for each).
- Studied how to diversify sound effects, namely:
- Added a dynamic pitch-shifting system to the code for interface sounds (hovering over cards/buttons) and combat hits/abilities. Now sound effects sound more varied and don't get repetitive.
- Balance Changes:
- Adjusted damage and HP balance (the main change is increasing damage for buffers and healers to 3 units, and minimum HP became 25 units. Melee buffers/healers have 30 HP so they don't feel completely useless). Because of this, all other DD cards were rebalanced: ranged ones mostly deal 5 damage with 25 HP, while melee ones have more damage or HP, for example 6/25 or 5/30.
- Fixes:
- Fixed card distribution in the hand (so they no longer fly off the edges).
- Fixed and enabled skills for desert faction cards (now obtained cards have abilities).
- During testing:
- I found and fixed an exploit where, while playing a card, the player could press "Next Turn" and quickly hold another card, allowing them to play all cards in one turn (hopefully no one noticed this before :3).
