About

A disgraced pro racer claws his way back through the illegal underground street scene, betting everything on wins he can't afford to lose. The tone stays grounded in that comeback story rather than winking at the camera.

He grinds through street races, drag races, and high-stakes police chases, building up his ride through car customization as the wins pile up. Each race pulls him closer to the women running the scene, and the night keeps going well past the finish line, for better or worse depending on how the race went. Progress is tied to the story, with illustrated and animated scenes marking the stops along the way.

Coming Next
I know the gameplay still needs more polish. The next update will focus on remaking the roughest maps, bringing all cars to a proper gear system, correcting vehicles whose artwork uses inconsistent angles, and polishing some of the existing animations. I also plan to add extra CGs to selected scenes before adding new cars and races.
Racing & Handling
Added engine sounds.
Reworked acceleration while preserving each vehicle’s unique performance.
Improved drifting with progressive grip and slip behavior and counter-steering recovery.
Smoothed steering, especially at high speeds.
Added water-specific handling with grip, drag, inertia, wider turning arcs, wake-based slip, and steering feedback.
Added reaction launches to later desert drag races.
Added a minimalist drag shifting tutorial and ideal shift feedback.
AI & Race Improvements
Added distinct AI driving personalities, occasional mistakes, recovery behavior, smoother vehicle-specific acceleration, and contextual nitro strategies.
Added Lana as a visible Desert Run opponent using her Vex Bumper, with improved speed and synchronized starting position.
Updated the Desert Run introduction for the new head-to-head setup.
Added a new route and checkpoint layout for Jade First Lesson.
Shortened Police Escape to 30 km and added roadblock warning indicators.
Added lap and sector timing, personal best tracking, and comparisons.
Collisions & Feedback
Added vehicle, wall, and environment-specific collision sounds, including dedicated armored money truck impacts.
Added subtle camera impulses for stronger crashes.
Added vehicle mass classes for more realistic collision behavior across different vehicle types.
Added angular collision reactions so side impacts can naturally rotate vehicles.
Rewards & Progression
Moved the major one-time heist reward to Desert Run and rebalanced repeat Heist rewards.
Rebalanced repeatable race payouts to reduce grinding.
Added clean race bonuses for collision-free finishes.
Expanded race results with race time, best lap, collisions, nitro use, bonuses, payout, and personal best information.
Interface & Accessibility
Redesigned the race results screen for better readability and consistency.
Gameplay HUD is now hidden while results are displayed.
Improved HUD readability with subtle outlines and shadows.
Loading screens now show real progress and consistent loading status messages.
Updated Desert Run’s loading presentation to match Lana’s theme.
